Traveler’s Notebook 20th Anniversary, Five Below Haul & Junk Journaling
Do you ever see something in the stationery world and think… I definitely don’t need this… but I really want it anyway? In this video, I’m sharing some of the stationery and journaling goodies that convinced me to hit the “buy” button in July.
From the Traveler’s Company 20th Anniversary Mini Traveler’s Notebook accessories to the surprisingly fun Five Below junk journaling collection, I’m unboxing, testing, and giving my honest first impressions.
In this video you’ll see:
Traveler’s Notebook 20th Anniversary accessories
The Mini Traveler’s Notebook
Anniversary stickers, brass clip & rubber stamps
A very cute (but slightly questionable) black cat stapler
Glitter highlighters
Pipsticks junk journal sticker book
Coquette sticker book
A few thoughts on collecting stationery, and actually using it!
I’m also sharing why I try not to be too precious with my journals and supplies. After all, they’re meant to be used, loved, scratched up, and filled with memories.
I’d love to hear from you in the comments:
What stationery item have you been influenced to buy lately?
Are you a Traveler’s Notebook collector?
Do you save your stickers forever or use them right away?
Thanks so much for spending some time with me. If you enjoy stationery, journaling, creative inspiration, and a little bit of enabling, I’d love to have you subscribe!
We did a *slightly unhinged* thing… we left our beach vacation in Ocean City, MD and headed straight to Brooklyn, NY for our second trip to Stationery Fest, now hosted at Industry City, and honestly? Worth it.
From the moment the gates opened (after a hot but quick wait), it was clear this event keeps getting bigger and better. The energy was incredible, the volunteers were so kind (handing out fans + hyping everyone up!), and there was SO much to see… almost *too* much. If you’re planning to go, consider VIP or multiple days because one day barely scratches the surface.
We made a beeline for LCN (priorities!) and also stopped by Jenny Bick Journals, still thinking about that A5. The courtyard was such a fun break from the crowds with interactive stations: free washi tape, ink swatching, nail art, stamping, and even a DIY pin station.
Once inside… total sensory overload in the best way. We didn’t even capture everything because we were just trying to take it all in.
Highlights + Haul:
– Yoseka pen + pouch (0.7 forever)
– LCN ocean bundle (obsessed is an understatement)
– Vintage-inspired goodies from Parcel + Letters to Apollo
– Bright, bold stickers from Tori Artis Plans
– Stationery Fest exclusive merch + washi
– Freebies, activity books, and so many stickers
We also met fellow stationery lovers in line (hi OkyPlans!), grabbed ice cream in the courtyard, and took a photo souvenir that printed on the spot, such a fun touch.
Overall: crowded, a little chaotic, but completely magical if you love paper goods, journaling, and creative community.
Would we go again? Absolutely. Would we plan differently? Who knows?!

These were some of our favorites but certainly not all of the awesome vendors at Stationery Fest!
We’re heading to Stationery Fest this Friday and I am officially in full prep mode!
I’m sharing a little behind-the-scenes look at how I get my journal ready for events like this, from organizing stickers and planning my “route of attack,” to creating a full Stationery Fest zine to capture every memory.
In this video: – A peek at our August sticker sheet (hello Leo + Virgo season, peridot, and gladiolus!) – How I prep and organize stickers (including my favorite mindful “fussy cutting” ritual) – My Stationery Fest journaling setup + travel plans – A flip-through of our exclusive Stationery Fest zine (available on Patreon!)
I love using journaling to slow down and really experience events like this, capturing little details, memories, and moments that might otherwise slip by.
If you’re heading to Stationery Fest, let me know! We’ll be there in our Someday Society t-shirts, come say hi, we might have a little zine or stickers for you
Join our Patreon for free of for $5/month to get access to printables like this zine, sticker sheets, and more: [link here]
